Res. Corps, Jan. 15,1864. He died on 4 Aug 1887 in Macoupin County, IL.⁽³²⁾ Died of Typhoid Pneumonia He was buried on 5 Aug 1887 in Mount Olive Cemetery, Mount Olive, IL. Buried in the family Plot. He was seen with his family in the 1880 US Census in Harvel, Montgomery County, Illinois He was married to Mary Jane Bedinger on 2 May 1850 in Clinton Co., OH.^{(33) (34)}

217. Mary Jane Bedinger⁽³⁵⁾ was born on 15 Dec 1829 in Pennsylvania.^{(36) (37)} She died on 24 Dec 1919 in Mt. Olive, Macoupin County, IL. Died at 9:35 PM. She was buried on 26 Dec 1919 in the family plot at Mt. Olive, Illinois city cemetery (back section 2, next to the driveway). Children were:

He died on 25 Mar 1943 in Montgomery County, Litchfield, Illinois. He was buried on 28 Mar 1943 in Mount Olive Cemetery, Mount Olive, IL. Buried in Family Plot by Beckman and Sons Funeral Home. He was a Coal Miner in Mount Olive, Illinois. Born a twin to Alvin
